Study and Work Experience | Work Experience Assistance

Experience the beauty of Britain and discover the British Culture. It is your chance to enhance your career and English language skills. This program is open to students and young professionals with degree or studying Hotel and Restaurant Management, Culinary Arts and Tourism to spend a period of twelve (12) months gaining work experience in a hotel and restaurant.

The program aims to provide quality practical training and work experience that will enhance the career opportunities of our participants.

Hospitality paid internship in England, Scotland and Wales.

Eligibility:

- Must have Hospitality, Tourism or Leisure Studies or
- Have at least 2 years post secondary education or
- 2 years related work experience
- Intermediate English skills
- Between 18 to 35 years old

Duration: 6 months and 12 months

Language: Participants must be fluent in English language. Participants who lack fluency in the language will only be eligible for placement in back of the house areas until their language skills are assessed as sufficient for guest contact positions.

Placements areas:
Food and Beverage Service Operations:
Participants gain work experience in the aspects of:
- Restaurant Service
- Beverage Service
- Banquet Service

Culinary Arts
Participants gain work experience in the aspects of:
- Main kitchen production
- Larder work
- Pastry and baking

Accommodation Operations Front of the House
Participants gain work experience in the aspects of:
- Front Desk
- Reservation Systems
- Concierge
- Guest Relations

Accommodation Operations Back of the House
Participants gain work experience in the aspects of:
- Stewarding
- Linen Control
- In-House Laundry Operations

Recreation & Leisure activities:
Suitably qualified applicants may apply for work experience in aspects of:
- Health Club operations
- Sports & Recreational Services
- Animation Team Work
